Medical/Dental Brigades
On a Medical Brigade, students work alongside licensed health care professionals to run a mobile medical clinic offering no-cost medical services within rural communities that lack proper access to the current health care system. Our medical brigades are combined with a Dental Brigade to include dental care as one of the clinic stations.
Medical Programming
Global Medical and Dental Brigades support the holistic model by bridging the access to health care services while also training Community Health Workers to serve the basic needs of their communities between brigades. This directly contributes to steps one and two of the holistic model.
